Interesting seeing the concrete going up on the south side, wonder if it will have two floors of parking then?

How did you get your helicopter so close to the street?

Maybe keeping it more open for the retail?

From the pdf, page 9: http://cityclerk.cityofomaha.org/images ... sc/689.pdf
... the new construction of 178 unit, 4 story structure of wood frame construction over a one-and-a-half story concrete podium, and about 6,173 sf of commercial space. The concrete podium will contain all structured parking, the clubhouse/leasing office, and the commercial/retail space. ... One of the units will be considered "affordable housing" ... The remaining 177 units will be market rate. The average apartment unit size will be 687 square feet.

Wow! one affordable unit! Thanks for going out of your way Urban Village! You do soooooo much for the city!

Later on page 28: 171 parking stalls + 44 street parking spots.

I drove by here yesterday and was really impressed with how quick this is moving.

I am still a little sad it stopped at 4 stories though.

Seriously. One affordable unit? Why even bother at that point. There are some ridiculous developments in Chicago that do the same thing to get around the city's affordability requirements.

That looks pretty good!

It does and it's a healthy addition to the area.

Driving next to these the scale is really impressive, quite a change from the previous land use.

Thanks for the update. Really changes the feel of the area. I imagine the building across the street isn't long for this world with this increased investment.

Some rezoning stuff for the properties south of this project. Might need to start a new thread, but wanted to dig some more.
