Looks good, but I can't wait for the color and signage to be added to the building.

Hotel Hamilton was one heck of a good looking building. Such a shame that it's gone.

I agree. I like the look, especially with the balconies.ShaneofCal wrote:Hotel Hamilton was one heck of a good looking building. Such a shame that it's gone.

The parking lot on this thing is huge. I thought there was supposed to be underground parking?

I don't recall that ever being mentioned. I think the lot was always in the plans.TitosBuritoBarn wrote:The parking lot on this thing is huge. I thought there was supposed to be underground parking?

Funny thing is that reminds me a lot of some of our recent architecture in this city. We really need to try harder.Brad wrote:Looked terrible after the cornice was removed in 1937

Architecture today is way better than back in the modern days.Busguy2010 wrote:Funny thing is that reminds me a lot of some of our recent architecture in this city. We really need to try harder.Brad wrote:Looked terrible after the cornice was removed in 1937

In the west side of the building, on 24th street. They have two commercial bays they have not used since they build the hotel. I believe they only need to make them up.
Re: Even Hotel (Omaha Hotel - 24th and Farnam)
Something has to be off with that permit. The whole building isn't even 100K sf according to the assessor.
