Barf. That rendering.
When fortune smiles on something as violent and ugly as revenge, it seems proof like no other that not only does God exist, you're doing his will.

I realized this reminds me of another apartment building in midtown:RNcyanide wrote:Barf. That rendering.
This is over at 38th and Jones. The colors are worse, but it's the same unattractive style. The Assessor has it listed as being built in 1990, but the siding on the building looks at least a decade older. The assessor is 2 years off on the construction date of our house (I found newspaper ads for a housekeeper 2 years before the date they have).

Re: Ekard Court (617 S. 31st)
Some people seem to get so annoyed with how preservationists get upset about every last old building/house being demolished. But maybe, just maybe if it didn't seem like 95% of new constructions had more to do with "how do we get this up as cheaply as possible" than actual architectural considerations, the preservationists wouldn't have to cling to every last old building.RNcyanide wrote:Barf. If that is brick on the bottom portion, then there's at least that... I guess...
Re: Ekard Court (617 S. 31st)
I still think this will end up being a solid addition.
