There had better be some nice amenities inside.

I'm really trying hard to look for some redeeming qualities here, but really, this place looks very cheap. Not pleased with it at all.
When fortune smiles on something as violent and ugly as revenge, it seems proof like no other that not only does God exist, you're doing his will.

It does leave a lot to be desired. Like mentioned above...I hope they have some really nice amenities and hopefully the building materials are of high quality, but just from looking at the rendering, they don't appear to be.

It does look very generic and boring. Wish they would have made it look like Traver's Row or some other type of row-house design, or something more urban, like 1501 Jackson.

Looks like most of the apartments that have been built in that neighborhood over the past 50 years; cheap and bland.

Funny, every time I drive by I tell myself that I need to shoot a few photos. I know I have taken some since December but I must have forgot to post them...

It's one of those projects I haven't fully wrapped my head around yet. Usually once I get a project all figured out, I will shoot more update photos because it almost becomes "automatic". I know when the best time, where to park, where to walk to, etc. May be this weekend I will try to walk the neighborhood and scout out some good locations to shoot from.

I absolutely hate those power poles, ruins the photos..

I looked at that this morning but decided to wait until it was in good light this afternoon.

I really don't care for this building at all, so far I think its ugly and doesn't fit the neighborhood.

Just too bad they didn't knock down that gas station and bring that closer to Leavenworth. I drove around it last week and it did get better looking when brick was added.

They'll have a very scenic view of the transients and sex workers down on Leavenworth.

It is surprisingly huge when you drive around the neighborhood, but I don't mind the looks of it. It's tucked away enough so that it doesn't dominate Leavenworth St.

Unfortunately the story states that they are only at 40% occupancy so far. I am surprised. You would think being so close to the Med Center it would be full or nearly full.

I dunno. It has some cool features but it looks like it was designed and built in the cheapest way possible.

Exactly what I was thinking when I saw those pictures. It’s looks alright right now but they used cheap materials that will look dated and dumpy in a few years.

I second all of the comments about the building being constructed and designed poorly. It would fit in much better way out west which is not what people living in Midtown are usually looking for. In addition, check out the rest prices. Much higher than other rents in the area, even in other new buildings. No wonder they are struggling with occupancy.

As an UNMC employee, this building wasn't even on my list of places to check out. I lived in Blackstone, but ended up moving downtown.

Proximity alone is not a selling feature, and you can make a cute little courtyard. But at the end of the day my choice always comes down to quality per dollar. The higher the rent, the nicer I expect everything to be.
