Near Omaha’s zoo, around Fifth and Bancroft Streets, a Minnesota-based firm hopes to build a 40-unit residential complex. The Common Bond Communities proposal eyes 3.3 acres of undeveloped land.

Wow, I always thought that was part of Bancroft Elementary.

Looks like this is Common Bond Communities first venture in to Nebraska. Based in MN and also have locations in WI and IA.

If the buildings are tall they'll have a great view of the mo river valley.

Just scanning the Common Bond Website it looks like the specialize in affordable housing. A lot of pretty decent looking properties in their portfolio. This should be exciting!

The traffic in this area is already a nightmare at school release time will be awful with a huge apartment complex on top of things. Hope they plan to beef up the infrastructure while they're at this.
