Jones St Reconstruction (11th to 13th)

Post by skinzfan23 »

I thought we had a thread on here talking about that stretch of Jones St being reconstructed in the next year or two by the city.

I am so excited for this. This street has needed this for a long time. I remember driving some out of town friends down this street and they thought it was a joke because it was so beat up. I wonder if this will lead to any other street or sidewalk improvements in the Old Market.

So is this assuming that company using the loading dock will move? That doesn't seem like enough space for trucks to maneuver.

The story on KETV mentioned that there is some news regarding the use of the Fairmont Creamery Building and it will allow for better use on the street, but they didn't really get into any details.
