Noticed the other day that there is now a road to the new UNO Arena parking lot going under W Center to the west of the creek.

Any idea for a expected start date for this building? Will it be contracted with McNeil as well? Still no word on Waitt Plaza either.

My dream world I always though that would be a cool spot for like a 10 floor apartment building.

Agreed. There should be some apartments and condos mixed with office and retail in the Whyatt Place (spelling).

Looks interesting. I still don't understand HBA's black and white color scheme. Considering that will be right next to PL, I think they should make the color palette something blue...

That will head all the way past the dome to Spring Street. Just like the road they are buildg across the creek will go all the way to 60th! The road network down there will be great for getting in and out quick. Should also help out Aksarben as a whole. People that currently clog up the main toads will have other options.

The entire parking lot behind Aksarben cinema is now gone. Looks like a parking garage construction may start soon. Also if it has not been reported yet spirit world construction has begun.

Not lately. Just been way too busy, only reason I even went through there today is because I was low on fuel and I was cutting over to QT. I am hoping to get out and shoot updates on Sunday. I am shooting down at Memorial Stadium on Saturday night so it will dependent on how all that goes.

I still have lots of aerials that I haven't even processed or posted dating back to June! :dizzy:

Isn't this the same land where Waitt Plaza is going? I thought it was going to be 8 stories. Any updated timeline on that project?

Looking at the plat that coyote posted, looks like the cinema/PAC life lot.

In regards to Waitt Plaza, a friend told me late last year, that it was on hold. Instead of building it for spec office space, they want another "anchor" tenant (meaning head quarters type tenant). He said that with the growth of AV, they feel very confident on finding one.

I think I will take the current plans over those. I am really glad to see how Aksarben Village is filling out.

I could be wrong, but I think I heard Trenton say something on Saturday's GrowOmaha show about a Pickleman's Restaurant going into the Gordman's Building. As well as another potential restaurant tenant negotiating for space in that building as well.

I know a lot of people from my work love Pickleman's but I hope its not. I have gone there twice and I think their bread is very dry and not worth the $5-6 for a sandwich. Give me a firehouse subs and I would be happy to pay that price.

They say they will have an approximate date soon. Yesterday I peeked in their window and my guess is that they are at least a month away.

I walked past if on my way to Spirit World when that opened and overheard people say it was at least six to eight weeks away. They still needed a lot of work done, a lot more than I wsx expectin to see.

Not a fan of Pickleman's either. Would still be nice to get a casual spot in A/V though. I do give them credit for coming into the market and opening in urban areas, I appreciate the fact that the company doesn't need the traffic counts or x amount of parking stalls to open a location.

I don't know what is going in the space but in the large bay at the South end of the Richman Gordman building a plumbing company appears to be putting in a sewer line into the middle of the bay.

BCBS is planning on building on their northern parking lot (Lot B) and adding a fourth floor to their parking garage.
