Renovation has started on the Tip Top building in North Downtown (16th & Cuming).

That last photo is great, showing off the skyline. Just think, that's going to be the view from the rooftop deck on every one of those rowhouses!

I like how all of the new residential projects DT match their surroundings. SoMa has an older look to it complementing the feel of the OM and older buildings south of Dodge St., while RVRFRNT Place matches the modern looking Qwest Center, FNC, UP, and coming pedestrian bridge. I can't wait to see what the area of north DT will develop into. I would like ot to be a mix of old and new.
