Found a sales flyer online. Some really interesting shots of the inside. Whoever buys this will have an incredible property on their hands, but has some major work to do.

The announcement isn't the indoor farmer's market, is it? That's the Postal Annex, not to be confused with the Burlington Postal Annex 1 block away, correct? Blue Barn + Postal Annex Farmer's Market Announcement + Burlington Building (KETV) + Whatever the Burlington Postal Annex announcement might be = Amazing change for that little area! Hope something comes out soon!

While I would find this hard to believe... It would be exciting news, but they would have to be just a player in the project, there is no way they could utilize all the space in the building, plus I don't know if that space could be converted for their use also.

I would assume they would have to give plans to whoever decides who gets the tax credits for historical rehabs.

People have been leasing space in there for years. They have to get it out for the new owners. Some investigative engineering work has also been going on.

It kind of looks like it's been a hoarder-friendly storage business.

I was always under the impression it was more hoarder than leased storage space.

Honestly, I think we need to give hoarders a little credit; they save the stuff everyone else is throwing out when it's not valued, so then there's some left when it comes back in style and becomes desirable. How many antiques would we have if no one saved stuff after it became unfashionable?

I don't fault some. The ones on the TV Show hoarders (the worst of the worst) that save garbage and rotton food, that's an issue.

But the people you see on American Pickers, I love that stuff. Its great seeing people save old things. I do wish more of them had a building like the annex to keep the items in a little better shape.

The dollar value listed on the above link is way low, but otherwise accurate.

Also, this photo is an example of some of the leased space, not hoarding. Hope I get to see them haul this guy out of there. Since there is no functional track to get out, it will be interesting!

They had the garage door open the other day and I went to the threshold and asked what turned out to be an angry old dude what was happening to the space. He obviously didn't want to talk to me but said it was going to be offices. He also mentioned something about Boyd Jones, but I was walking away by then.

It will be multiple mid-size and smaller tenants. There will be a full level of small offices intended for start-ups and companies that just have a couple people and need a desk and a phone.

Planning Board considering vacating 11th from Mason to the north for 65 feet. Since there is no actual street there I assume it is simply to remove the ROW, maybe for parking here?

Basically where the 11th Street Bridge Abutment was. The postal Annex has a whole bunch more land down below. Its too bad they couldn't get a road down there to create parking on their additional land. They have just under an acre woth of land west of the Postal Annex, but no way to access it without a road down.

Developers have $25M plan to transform long-empty Burlington postal annex
a $25 million plan by Crane and co-developer Matt Dougherty to transform the mail terminal at 950 S. 10th St. into the future headquarters of Boyd Jones Construction, as well as an entire floor for up to 90 startup businesses and a restaurant.
High ceilings will allow for an additional level to be created, making a total of five stories and 99,000 square feet. The top two are to be leased by yet-to-be-determined professional tenants. There’ll be indoor parking on the lower level and an expansive rooftop that offers a panoramic view of Omaha and Council Bluffs.
Renovation is to start this summer, with a move-in goal of late 2016.

Wow that's awesome!!! With Blue Barn, the farmers market, the museum, Burlington, and the bars to the south, it very well could see the foot traffic depicted in the rendering.

Really cool to see new business and commercial redevelopment in this area. Loft conversions are nice, but all those residents have to work somewhere.

I think just the new windows alone is going to make this building look very attractive. Glad to see a local company developing it. Should have a much better chance than the previously planned residential conversion.
