Wow that building looks snazzy. I'm really glad this rose from the ashes of the old butternut building.

Unless it is a model unit it looks like there are people in the building living.

Re: Corvina (Butternut Site)
Great pic. You can see how the new massing of first floor of Corvina kind of relates to what was on the northeast corner of Butternut where the loading docks were.
He said "They are some big, ugly red brick buildings"
...and then they were gone.
...and then they were gone.

So far, three-fourths of the first 50-unit phase is occupied with tenants who started to move in about two months ago. More apartments are to open as their interiors are finished.
All homes and amenities are to be finished by April, including a heated in-ground swimming pool area with TV-equipped cabanas.
City Ventures developers said they strove to fit within the context of the larger neighborhood.
They designed the structure, for example, so that the view from the neighboring Durham Museum toward downtown would not be obstructed. The U-shaped apartments stand four stories on the west side and six on the east.

Re: Corvina (Butternut Site)
Per Grow Omaha this past weekend, the next phase for 44-units will start soon. The location of the additional units is above the parking garage, from what I understood from the host. Anyway, it's a good sign that they are proceeding with more units.
