Gotta have a good foundation for a building. Things take time.

This could be going vertical soon. Some scaffolding equipment on site now and it looks like they have a lot of the foundation poured.

And just like that the elevator shaft has reached the 10th Street bridge in height.

Based on the renderings, I don't see it going much higher

That is it for that side, the east side will be maybe two floors taller.

One would have thought they would of taken advantage of the 10th street connection.

That would of been really cool to have something right off the 10th Street bridge. The building will connect to the viaduct for residents though.

I think people will be pleasantly surprised with the height here. Could be a shade taller than the Embassy.

I am not sure about that...the Embassy is 6 stories tall and 7 stories on the east side.

Looks like all the steel for the first and second floor is up. There's a few pieces up for the next floor.

The retail space has some huge ceilings. I wonder if they would even put a loft space for whatever ends up in there.

We can probably change the title of this thread. Seems like the Corvina will be completed.

Looking good.

That last photo really makes you realize how much surface parking is still down in that area.

Driving down 10th Street, I really wish it project was at least on story taller on the 10th street side. The Butternut had such and awesome presence on 10th street, and this building is just tall enough to use the 10th street entrance. Park a few cars in front of it and it almost disappears.

Sounds like they already have commercial tenants lined up which is nice. Is an "auto spa" basically a car wash business? City Ventures does own a car wash elsewhere in town.

Not sure if they are taking the entire space or not, but BVH(the architects of this project) are moving their offices into this building.

It will be interesting to see how their new space turns out in Corvina. Their current space (since 2004) is in the Joseph's Small Engine building at 15th & Jones, which will become available. That is a cool open space with huge steel bow trusses spanning the whole width of the building. Bluestone used to be in the front of that building. Delinea Design is still in there now, I believe.
