Cindy Gonzalez / World-Herald staff writer wrote:Transformation of a familiar Old Market warehouse is complete — and now there’s room for more than just retailers, bars and restaurants at the 133-year-old Woolworth building.
Apartment-dwellers have just started to move into the 44 residences carved out of the top three floors of the five-story structure on the northeast corner of 12th and Howard Streets.
On the second floor, 15,000 square feet of new office space was created with an industrial feel, arched entryways and wood floors.

Has anyone toured/leased these apartments? I'm always hesitant with a new building without reviews of how the management is to work with, but I suppose somebody has to be the first!

What a beauty... Glad it is being restored. If you enjoy old gems, check out Syracuse, New York. Some of their old structures (including a college or university) are just stunning, imo.
I can get pushed out because I'm "too much" for some. Then, an observer of me comes suddenly swooping in to "fill my shoes." People are always more accepting of the new one, because their feathers aren't truly ruffled by them. (Yawn) I can count on it every time.

Liquor licence request for "Drastic Plastic Vinyl Lounge" in the basement of this building. If that is exactly what the name says could be a cool spot in the Old Market.
