The neighborhood discussion group announced that Columbian school is going to be torn down and replaced. Anyone know why?

Columbian Elementary was identified as requiring replacement in the 2014 OPS Facilities Capital Plan. There is a bit more information here: http://district.ops.org/Portals/0/PUBLI ... 20Plan.pdf
