New Village Pointe Best Buy confirmed! (somewhat)

I was bumming around Village Pointe's website (http://www.villagepointeshopping.com) and noticed that when you select the 'Stores and Restaraunts' page, on the side under Coming Soon Best Buy is listed.

Although I will note that is the only page where it is listed under coming soon (the coming soon bar is on every page it seems), and they don't tell you where it's going to be built. But either way if this means Best Buy has committed to building at VP, it's some great new retail. I don't know if anyone else read in the Herald where Best Buy is also considering being the main tenant at a new shopping development in CB (although details seem slim and it doesn't look like anything is materializing very fast on it).

I wonder if they will keep the Oak View store open after the VP store is built.

Yes, Best Buy is now moving out to VP. It will be on the open side of the mall street opposite of the movie theater. It is said to be open before Thanksgiving.

I've seen the plans, but it supposed to be "Secret"
