Rotella’s Italian Bakery is building a 56,000-square-foot warehouse directly south of its massive 170,000-square-foot plant at 108th and Harrison Streets in La Vista.
The 40-foot-tall warehouse, being constructed from the ground up, is scheduled for completion in July, said John Rotella, plant manager.
Rotella’s, a privately held company, did not say how much it is investing in the structure designed by RDG Planning & Design of Omaha.
Rotella’s produces more than 300 kinds of baked goods, focusing on bread, rolls, buns, breadsticks and related items, according to the company’s website. Its products are distributed nationwide.

Re: Rotella's Facility
Well, that explains the construction I was wondering about near their factory. Thanks!

Century-old family bakery to expand in Sarpy County frontier
Steel Ridge developer fills more gaps in 400-acre tract of former farmland
PAPILLION — A century-old, family-owned bread business is among the latest tenants headed to the Steel Ridge development, one of the newer, hot growth slices of metropolitan Omaha. But don’t expect to smell the aroma of freshly baked pumpernickel or honey wheat loaves when passing by Schram Road and 156th Street. Rotella’s Italian Bakery intends to run a cold storage distribution facility on the nearly 50 acres it’s buying at that Sarpy County crossroads east of Interstate 80.

IF they have bought 50 acres they have more plans than a cold storage distribution facility.Coyote wrote: ↑Mon Oct 31, 2022 7:51 am

For the record NEBUGEATER does not equal BUGEATER !!!!!!!
Re: Rotella's Facility
Is Rotella moving to the new facility or just expanding into it? That is, will they be closing their facility at 108th & Harrison?
