Hastings College

I noticed yesterday that Hastings College owns a lot of land on 220th and Blondo. Enough size land to potentially be a campus. Anyone have any insight into this? The land was purchased back in 2012, it's about 400 acres of total land they have per the DC Assessors page.

Could also be a donation, if you look at the transaction, the sale price was $0.00. Hastings College has a big "Hastings College Foundation" which is (or was a few years ago) located in Omaha. They do a lot of fundraising. May be it was donated and they are holding on to it until its prime real-estate?

I don't have time to find it, but in the newest Omaha Parks Master Plan, this whole property is in some sort of nature or wildlife area. Its a big area that runs from Dodge to the Douglas/Washington county border. Not sure what it means, just caught a quick glimpse on a map the other day.
