I think you'll see Jimmy Johns open by early to mid April, Tacoville a month or so after.

I haven't heard specifics on the other tenant(s).

I forgot to look and see if there was a drive through window on that north side on the bay they are working on. obviously not on here on the south side so I would assume JJ is going on the north end.

I will be seeing them all the time as I pull in the parking lot to go to Pizza Ranch. For about 10 bucks you can go into Pizza Ranch and have a salad and some chicken and some pizza. Beats eating a boring old sub any day of the week.

I think Jimmy Johns was open tonight. Their Neon Signs were on and the paper was taken off the windows.

I believe Tacoville opens today. And a Sprint store should be going in next door.

Stothert said she expects the move to take about 10 months to complete.

I was just remembering the other day that Gemini Twin Theater used to be in the northwest corner of this plaza. My parents used to bring us here in the summer back in the 80s as they had some sort of really cheap weekday Summer movie matinee program for kids.

Gemini was great. I remember seeing Who Framed Roger Rabbit there.

I only remember going to Gemini once. Strangely, the movie I remember seeing was Gorillas In The Mist. We were mostly Park 4 and Southroads 4 people with a little South Cinema 7 sprinkled in. Stockyards Movies 8 for dollar shows before that place got nasty.

But, I always remember seeing Gemini there and thinking it was an odd place for a movie theater. I'd walk past it all the time going to LB's Sportscards.

LB's! LB's was great - loved it when the plaza had both them and Krypton Comics.

I remember it as well. Small theatres, and small prices.

I might have been Omaha's first 99 cent theatre back then.
