diCoppia to leave Regency and move west

My wife and I celebrated her birthday this evening at diCoppia in Regency, one of our favorite restaurant's for fine dining.

The news is diCoppia will be leaving Regency and moving "west a few miles, probably". The details have not been estabilished yet, but should be in a few weeks.

The owners of diCoppia could not come to terms with the Regency managment to renew their lease past October 2005. The Regency managment wanted diCoppia to relocate to the south end of the mall, diCoppia owners declined.

diCoppia owners hope to get out of their lease before October 2005 and relocate in early 2005.

What was Regency managment thinking?

Rumor has it that Borsheims wants this space so they probably were the responsible party that squeezed di Coppia out.
