The Pumpkin Barn

Anyone have any insight as to why they aren't opening this year? Â I was told they were selling; is it hail or something else?

If this is true, it would be a smart idea for them to put a notice on their website. Â We were planning on going this past weekend but didn't make it there. Â We are hoping for next weekend. Â Their website makes no mention of not being open.

Yeah it would be nice; we drove out there and they had no pumpkins by the barn, no one working, no pumpkins on the hill. Â I called the number on the website and it said it was disconnected or no longer in service. Â We drove to ditmars orchard, and in talking with one of the owners, she said they (pumpkin barn) were getting out of it.

I looked down there last night and there are no pumpkins to be seen. Â The property is being maintained and the signs along the highway are still up.

They held an auction there on Saturday. Â Must be completely out of the business.
