TS Bank

Postby Omaha_Gabe » Fri Feb 07, 2014 12:15 pm

TS Bank has proposed building a branch location in downtown Council Bluffs.
The proposal calls for a two-story, 12,000-square-foot building at the southwest corner of the intersection of Main Street and Kanesville Boulevard, currently the site of a little-used, city-owned parking lot. The development would also have drive-through lanes, parking and landscaping.

That's a good use of space, I believe. Going off track, but It'd be really cool if council bluffs started building skyscrapers in their downtown, to compete with Omaha's (Although it's a slim to none chance).

Not sure that would happen. I think the city stated previously they would prefer not to block the bluffs

Sounds like the plans have changed to a 4-story, 20,000 sq ft building.

TS Bank will break ground Monday along Scott St.

The 20,000-square-foot building, which will officially be at 43 Scott St., will house TS Bank services on the first floor and a drive-up window, with commercial banking, TS Wealth Management and Trust Group departments on the top floor.
The two other floors are commercial lease space at this time, said Joshua Guttau, TS Banking Group and TS Bank CEO and CFO.
“This new location will increase our ability to meet the needs of our clients,” he said. “In addition, we hope the available commercial space will provide great opportunities for other local businesses,”
Anticipated completion date is next summer, he said. The project is being managed by the Weitz Co.

No renderings provided, but still a great addition to downtown CB.

From the Nonpareil:

On the first floor, customers can deposit or withdraw money through the use of a video teller featuring a teller based in Treynor. It’s a growing trend in personal banking as more and more people are doing it the digital way, Guttau said.
Commercial banking officials will also occupy the first floor.
The top floor will be base of operations for the bank’s Prosperity Group, featuring 10 employees, including five trust officers and two investment experts.
“We’re in the business of prosperity leadership, helping them (customers) build their prosperity over their lifetime,” Guttau said.
A conference room for large meetings is located on the third floor. The second floor is currently unoccupied.
There are also three drive-through lanes that also feature a video teller.
