A study on what the future may hold for West Broadway and surrounding blocks will begin this summer.
The Council Bluffs City Council this week gave the go-ahead for the city’s Community Development Department to seek firms for the study.
“It’s a big study area,” said Don Gross, the department’s director. “We’re talking about an area three blocks wide and 22 blocks long.”
The study will focus on the 66-block area between Avenue A and Second Avenue – with West Broadway in the center – and from 15th Street to Interstate 480 near the Missouri River, Gross said.
