130 new jobs for downtown Council Bluffs

Good news for Council Bluffs... for the entire metro.

After Accept Insurance Company woes... it's good to see American Republic Insurance of Des Moines bring jobs right back in to CB.

Thats great! It is always good to see those kind of jobs coming to our area. It is especially good to reaffirm our metro as a large employer in the insurance industry.

Will they be moving into existing space?

From what I understand, they will be occupying the same location AIC occupied in Council Bluffs' Omni Centre business park (adjacent 'downtown')

Good news indeed. E, do you have a picture of this office complex from your photo spree of Council Bluffs?

Apparently, the Iowa Department of Economic Development has two "major annoucements" of companies looking to expand or locate within the state to be released later this month. Early word is that this annoucement will have a large biotech emphasis. Maybe Council Bluffs, or Western Iowa will be able to land something else promising.
