The City Council approved the final plans for Acosta Subdivision, a 14-lot project proposed on the south side of 28th Avenue between South 15th and 17th streets.
Public improvements will not be necessary within the project area, but there will be sewer, street paving, curb and gutter improvements needed on 28th Avenue. With its bid of $319,041, Leazenby Construction was approved to do that work.
The council approved plans for a project in the 800 block of Franklin Avenue. A Scottsdale, Ariz., company, Sanford Properties Inc., wants to construct 22 to 26 town homes there. Each would be accessed from a new public cul-de-sac from Franklin.
