No matter the age, it seems people always talk about the “glory days” of school sports and what good athletes they were. . . .
That talk inspired his new pizza and sports bar, Glory Days, 106 W. Broadway. Jerseys from local high schools adorn the orange walls, and the menu features items like warm-ups (appetizers) and a Hail Mary pizza.
Glory Days opened a week before St. Patrick’s Day and has a good dinner crowd, said Juon. The 1999 Abraham Lincoln graduate is pleased with that, because he wants Glory Days to be more about the food than the drinks. . . .
Glory Days is open Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m., Friday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.

It's a good bar and pretty good food. Â The owner is a friend of mine, and it was a lot of work to complete it and get open, but it's all paying off. Â The bar top is made from the old St. Albert's basketball court, they have several tv's all hooked up to dish (so missing games is far and few between). Â Not to mention weekly beer pog on wednesdays from 8-10 Â It's a good place, go check it out!
