New Event Center to be built in Sioux Falls

Sioux Falls residents voted to build a 12,000 seat arena. Construction to begin next Summer. They are building it next to the current 50 yr old arena and convention center. There was quite a lot of heated discussion over the past few months between two groups -- the ones who wanted it at the arena site and the ones who wanted to have it built downtown.

Glad to see they finally got this passed.  I'm not too thrilled they decided to build it by Howard Wood field though, downtown would have been way better.

Thats a very nice building fora city the size of Sioux Falls.
