You've gotta hand it to Denver.. every building they are building is a very attractive example of modern architecture and for a decent size city are pulling in HUGE projects.

The brown colored building just to the right of the rendered new tower is Brooks Tower. Built in the late 60's, 42 floors of luxury living in 420 feet. Was heralded as Denver's first world class skyscraper and was the new height champion by a good hundred feet or so at the time. A lot of folks thought it was terrible that it would block out their pristine view of the Rockies.

This is definitely a city that we should be following the footsteps of. Really intense infill around the city center makes the taller buildings look much cooler.

Wow that is going to be a really tall tower outside of the main downtown towers. I can't wait to go back to Denver either next year or the year after.

I would be willing to try to get over Omaha if I could afford a condo on the 30th floor of that tower in Denver with a balcony facing the mountains. Sitting there getting legally stoned in my sky pad until the grim reaper calls my number. Yeah I could go out that way.
