Wow they are getting a ton of national acts coming through, you gotta wonder if Sioux City has a big enough population base to support that.Uffda wrote:Open Friday

It looks and sounds nice, but only a 54 room hotel? I would have expected at least four times that size.

Sioux City is a small market that doesn't grow much. The casino portion isn't all that big either.nativeomahan wrote:It looks and sounds nice, but only a 54 room hotel? I would have expected at least four times that size.

Re: Hard Rock Sioux City
Last year, the revenue from Iowa's 18 casinos was down almost 78 million dollars. That makes two years in a row that revenues have been down at Iowa's casinos. The only two casinos in the state where revenue was up last year was the Grand Falls Casino near Larchwood and Harrah's Casino in Council Bluffs. It will be interesting to see how Hard Rock Sioux City, which is right in between those two casinos, will effect the revenue this year.
