Cat has long been a rumored big fish out there just waiting to be wooed from tax happy Illinois. Turns out they and 3200 employees will stay put in Peoria.

That's a cool looking building. They rest of the company must be doing better than their subsidiary Progress Rail, who was was one of the two Major Players in the new locomotive market. They were sidelined 12/31/2014 because their Locomotives couldn't meet new government emission standards that took effect Jan 1, 2015.
