Norman in the Spring

Post by Golden Eagle »

Here's some photos from April. I still haven't gotten my downtown shots from late April off my camera yet... These here are all of the University of Oklahoma flagship campus in Norman. Enjoy.

I spent the night in Norman last weekend at the Holiday Inn. I never paid attention to the campus, nice shots. I do recognize Harold's, I always stop at Marie Calander's and noticed thay you guys have a new Gordman's.......an Omaha based store.
Again, great photos. And Norman is a great town. I drive through it a lot going home to Fort Worth from KC.

I sure miss the Nebraska-Oklahoma games thanksgiving weekend.

One thing about the NU-OU rivalry...there was never animosity...just great football and we always had a blast in Norman. We were made to feel welcome like old friends in bars, restaurants, hotels, etc., AND while wearing NU attire. (And I say that with about 10 or 15 trips to Norman for experience)

I've been meaning to get some shots of the old downtown, Brookhaven, Campus Corner, and some of the really nice old neighborhoods around OU.

Glad y'all liked.

Found these on my camera. These are from a parking lot off of Buchanon Street in Campus Corner. Enjoy.
