(SORRY! Some big files snuck in on me... I'll fix these tonight from home.)
OK, folks. Better late than never. Better crappy than never, too, I suppose. I'm no photographer, and I didn't want to lug my semi-decent gear with me for two weeks, so this is what you get. From March '08.
All taken of or from Edinburgh Castle. The oldest remaining structure in the castle is the cathedral dating to the 11th century. The area to the north of the castle is called "Newtown" - where no new structures have been built since the 18th century. A little perspective for your day. (Edinburgh has a population smaller than Omaha's, btw.)
Shot with a disposable Kodak purchased outside the gate of Edinburgh Castle for something in the neighborhood of $40,000 American, because I'm really smart and we went to Europe with the dollar at an all time low. At least we were the only ugly Americans there.

Re: Edinburgh Castle
Ha, good one!
Man, these "take me back". Â I went to the UK on a school trip in High School and we visited Edinburgh. Â Even then, my sophomore year of high school (about seven years ago), I was reminding all of my classmates that Omaha is actually bigger...yeah, I've been dedicated to Omaha for THAT long!
