Some really great downtown buildings got mowed over for "urban renewal" in the 60s, before the Oil Bust left us high and dry. Over 50 got demolished, and then about two dozen got ruined by new facades later or were among the many buildings lost in the Bombing. Here's a few.

There was even a beautiful, large riverfront area south of downtown (now full of metal buildings and homeless people). The south side of downtown is being rebuilt and so is the park though. There was also a trolley system that served nearly all of OKC at that time.
