The 74-year-old Tibetan spiritual leader and Nobel Peace Prize laureate will visit the university in Cedar Falls on May 18. It's his first trip to Iowa.
He will participate in a morning panel discussion about violence-prevention education, then give a speech that afternoon. Tickets to the panel discussion cost $15, and the cost of attending the speech range from $50 to $15. There is also a $2 handling charge.
