New York City's HUGE bike share program coming next year.
I'm proud of Denver's current 510 bikes at 51 stations, but New York is swinging for the fences. 10,000 bikes at 600 stations in Manhattan and Brooklyn. This will change travel in New York forever.

Yeah, my bike and pedestrian transportation professor, Jeff Olson's firm Alta Bike Share (an offshoot of Alta Planning + Design) was awarded the contract.
It's really amazing to have the opportunity to study bicycle and pedestrian transportation planning under one of the top minds in the field.
