I was ecstatic to discover that the intersections of 11th and Harney and 11th and Farnam have been vastly improved and brought up to a modern level of safety!!!
Street lights with pedestrian walk signals have been added, along with crosswalks and bulb-outs that shorten the distance pedestrians have to walk across travel lanes.
I am extremely happy to see the City making these kinds of improvements, especially that they are making this a priority during a time of tight city budgets.
Way to go, Omaha!!!
