370 and 75N Intersection Project

Post by Omaha-BstonGuy »

Anyone know what they have been doing there for the past several months? It seems like they are widening some sort of tunnel, what tunnel is that? A river tunnel of sorts? Any link to the plans/info? I pass by it going south now and then and it finally seems that they are in the finishing phases of the project (covering the tunnel with dirt.)

It's probably NRD work.

I drive by this everyday. They replaced a box culvert that was in bad shape after the heavy rains of this summer. They had to remove the roadway, all the dirt and the old culvert. They completed pouring all the new culvert this past week and started filling dirt back over it. Depending on weather, the new roadway was expected to be opened in December.
