This section of 156th has to be the worst street in West O. It is disgusting. It doesn't make sense that a lot of that section is a two lane instead of a three lane.156th and Blondo is probably the worst intersection in West O. Badly designed and planned. Why did they abruptly turn Blondo into a two lane road right before 156th? They should have just extended it to the intersection. And on 156th Street going north, there is wacky, super tiny right turn lane. Looks horrible. That intersection and section of road make me want to barf. Why is this section of road so bad?

They didn't turn anything into a 2 lane road, it all used to be 2 lanes. It's no different than it has ever been.

It will all become 4 lanes eventually. Just like 120th, and 132nd, and 144th.

They stopped just before 156th because the intersection is part of the 156th Phase 2 project coming up in FY 2017. They'll be widening 156th between Pepperwood and Corby.
