Meeting to address widening of I-680

It was so nice that the mainline was completely open this morning! Things seemed to flow much smoother.

NB Pacific St entrance to open tomorrow. The construction is finally coming to an end on I-680. Now if they could just complete I-80 between I-480 and 60th.

I saw that they had painted lanes on the ramp a few days back, but was surprised how short the merge lane turned out to be.
Those lane changes on WB I-80 are horrible, also can't wait for that to even out.
Also I-80 EB from 126th/Giles to the interchange. I St. on ramp has been open for a while now.

I was thinking the same thing. It really should go a bit further like the ones on I-480.

Granted, they would have had to bring in a lot of fill for the banks to lengthen the lane, but with all the time they spent of adding to the bridge, you would have thought they could have pulled that off.
