Lincoln to Omaha
My brother in Lincoln doesn't have a driver's license and he needs to get to Omaha for a family gathering. Â Does anyone have any advice/knowledge of transportation options between the two cities. Â I'm told Greyhound bus doesn't go to Lincoln anymore. Â Trailways bus lists one departure to Omaha, but it is 4:10 am. Â Google turns up van service via Omalink, A&B Shuttle, Eppley Express, Dashabout Shuttle, but they all seem geared toward getting Lincolnites to Eppley. Â Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Yes. Â It is usually running way late, but usually goes from Lincoln to Omaha in the early morning and from Omaha to Lincoln in the late night.Big E wrote:Does the train stop there?

And its only $11.00 Each way

I'm with ya Big E, but he's been bumming rides from family members for too long now. Â Was hoping for a way for him to take a little personal responsibility. Â Sadly, we all know how poor public transportation is in Nebraska, even between the two largest cities! Â Omahalink.com shows 9 van departures each day. Â Round trip price $75.00!
I will go get him for $74.99.omaproud wrote:Just as I thought! No one here can help because there virtually is no public transportation between Nebraska's two largest cities!
I he didn't mind hanging out for a while, it looks like amtrak is the best option.
