Benson gets a seafood restaurant
Omaha World Herald wrote:Taita, a new restaurant featuring seafood, is opening in Benson.

The restaurant, 6109 Maple St., has been having a "soft opening" since last weekend, and will have an official grand opening starting Friday. It's in the historic Benson Bakery building, most recently home to the Today Cafe.

Please go support this place.  The food is fantastic and I would hate to see them not make it.  If this city can support the endless stream of culinary sh!tbombs it already does, there's room for something truly unique.

Do they have chicken too? (Not for me).

They don't seem to have a website...

Closing Feb. 15
It is with great sadness that we communicate to all our fans: Taita will be closing it's doors on February 15th. Taita was opened with the intent of providing a different take on the traditional seafood restaurant. In our 5 years of operation, we feel that we accomplished our goal. Starting this Wednesday, January 18th we will be featuring a final menu with popular items from previous years as well as new dishes to share before we close our doors. Thank you for the support all this time and for helping us during the good and bad.
Sincerely,
Taita: Sea to Table
