Pretty sure it's going in on the west end, in the old Hollywood Video space.

I stopped by the new location near 156th and Dodge. The liquor license permit request is hanging up on the glass, and construction is well underway. I'm no construction expert, but it looks like it could be open by New Years. I suppose the kitchen permits will be the holdup (like Flagship Commons). HOPEFULLY they are able to build a patio on the west end of the building.

They had a soft opening this week. I drove by in the evening and there were many people inside. They do not have their sign up yet on the building.

At the Friends and Family now. The space looks great by west Omaha strip mall standards, they did a nice job. 40 taps. Should be a nice addition to an area that could use a shot of life.

I stopped in last night after work for a burger and of course a couple of beers. Nice layout and good choice of beers and burger styles. It was pretty busy but the wait for most people wasn't very long.

Two of the most delicious menu items I’ve ever tried at Omaha Tap House..

Along with the great beer selection and awesome staff, the food is highly recommended :thumb: ...

I am sure glad I attended. It was a great time. Thanks, guys!
My son got a 27 on his ACT. No this score is not as high as what Jeff's son achieved. But one has to remember the paternal gene-pool my son has to overcome. On a PGPAB [Paternal Gene-Pool Adjusted Basis], my son's score is a 37 and Jeff's son's PGPAB ACT score is 19.

Sorry I could not make it. Back in Omaha now for a while.
It would be nice to have monthly, or every other month get-togethers of forum members. Anyone interested?

Tap houses are only allowed to have 32 ounces and you must buy the growler from them and have their logo on it. Breweries can have 64 ounces.

I hope Omaha tap house does Crowlers instead because they stay a lot fresher.

They’ll be Crowlers from what I understand..and Brian, who manages the Pepperwood location, told me last Saturday they’re trying to get approval for filling a 16oz Crowler, in addition to 32oz...

I don't think there's such a thing as a 16oz Crowler. 32 and 25.4 oz (750mL) are the only two sizes I see on their website. I assume both are the same height, just smaller diameter.

It may not be considered a crowler, but he told me 16 oz. Likely a can for fills..

It’ll be interesting to see if that works out...

The Omaha Tap House Pepperwood just announced on their Facebook page, they’re now filling 19.2oz and 8oz Crowlers..

I like the 8oz size.. Especially for barrel aged Imperial Stouts and some big Double IPA’s...
