2012-2013 Holiday Lights

Post by Brad »

Anyone been down to the Holiday Lights this year?

I don't think they did as many trees in the park this year.  It looks like they left a few trees along the lake dark this year.  I can't decide if they are going cheap, worried that their lift will fall in to the lake because the trail and wall are crumbling or its something else?

Look at the trees along the trail on the right side of this 2011 photo, they are not lit this year.

The city is still trying to find someone to start the park renovations this winter aren't they?  Maybe they didn't bother with the areas that are to be worked on in the first phase.

Hard to see the trees that are dark in this photo, but you can see the sidewalk starting to sink in to the lake.

I noticed this as well. There are too many trees without lights.   Here are some zoomed in pictures of ones I found in my pictures. There is also some more by the big slides.

I love those pictures Brad.

I love the green grass in the first picture from 9 days ago too.
