The restaurant will serve wine, along with comfort food such as burgers, sandwiches and seafood for brunch, lunch and dinner.
SO DISAPPOINTING!! Â Slow service, food was marginal at best, over priced. Â The wine selection was good and they serve a generous glass. Â I guess if you want a drink it is OK but I wouldn't recommend eating a meal at Louie's.
Jamie Burrows (former Husker and Jet) talked about Louie's on What's Cooking today, they will be having a "Food Truck Tuesday" with inexpensive Street foods sometime soon. they are open for Lunch, which I did not know. Brunch from 10-3 bottomless Mimosas, featuring four different types.
If anyone drinks Bloody Mary's and a fan of bacon try one there, they serve there's with bacon salt on the rim and a thick cut of bacon in the drink! Had one on a Sunday with brunch
Sarah Baker Hansen was on 590 today with Mike'l and said that Louie's was now called Steak and Grapes. Same owners as before, they just broke away from the Louie's chain.
I had a co-worker and his wife went last Friday night --- they weren't impressed at all. Food arrived luke warm and they were offered a few dollars off the bill. He said they wouldn't be going back.
Apparently this closed at some point, because I was driving down 168th and saw the sign was down and they had Austin's Steakhouse signs up on the windows. It looks like Austin's is coming back after they were all shut down 15 years ago or so.
