Is the one On West Center still open. Â Go there once in a while and they are never very busy
For the record NEBUGEATER does not equal BUGEATER !!!!!!!
Ya know I've been to Ruby Tuesday at least a few times and its pretty decent but Applebee's is rocking it right now with their happy hour specials and also catering to the UFC crowd. For this format of places to go eat at I never think past Applebee's, Chili's, Buffalo Wild Wings, Old Chicago before deciding on one so I can imagine other people do the same. You would think this was a good location for people from Regency going out for a bite to eat close to home.

The Ruby Tuesday's Web site still shows the Pacific location but has it listed as CLOSED
The One on Center and the one in Bellevue are still showing open.

You said a year ago that a Florida based family concept chain was looking into that space.Brad wrote:I honestly can't remember the place. I will see if I can find out. It was new to the market.nativeomahan wrote:Oh Brad, don't leave us hanging like that!

Bee's and Chilis cannot be touched. You can saddle up solo at and have good eats at a good price and find yourself in a bottle of Jack you brought from home without anyone bothering you. A real power move.
And the Top Shelf Margs and Bold Flavor Baby Back ribs Chilis serve is so off the chain Guy Fieri probably eats there all the time when he is not bad boy style cruising for Triple D.
(If you don't get this please search for Karl Welzein. You can thank me later.)

New York Develops a Taste for Gastropubs
David Farley: Special to The Washington Post wrote:Welcome to the gastropub. Not quite a bar and not quite a restaurant, the gastropub is a British hybrid of sorts, offering a casual-meets-refined atmosphere that welcomes beer drinkers and wine snobs, non-fussy eaters and foodies alike.

Great food, casual pub.Friedman likens the gastropub movement to the beginnings to another movement. "It's a lot like punk rock," he said, "which got its start because kids realized they could still start a band even without being able to afford the expensive equipment and rehearsal space. They did it anyway. And that's what a lot of chefs have done. They've done it in casual pubs."

Re: Pig and Finch (old Ruby Tuesday at OPP)
Work is going on now. I couldn't tell how much, but one of the window signs was ripped and you could see a ladder in front of the window.

Re: Pig and Finch (old Ruby Tuesday at OPP)
Signs in window still say opening December 2013, trucks have been there for a while, but doesn't look any closer to opening anytime soon.
Re: Pig and Finch (old Ruby Tuesday at OPP)
No, but last Wednesday I had Breakfast at Wheat Fields. I got there before the sun came up and I could see inside the Pig and Finch and there were several workers working and it looked like they had all the walls framed up. They are definitely working on it.Coyote wrote:Signs in window still say opening December 2013, trucks have been there for a while, but doesn't look any closer to opening anytime soon.

They have updated the building exterior. And the interior appears to have been gutted.
Web site says it will open in March.

Re: Pig and Finch (old Ruby Tuesday at OPP)
Looking at the menu for the Leawood location, this will be a neat menu. A little pricier than I was expecting it though. Knowing the 801 group though, it'll be top notch...nativeomahan wrote:They have updated the building exterior. And the interior appears to have been gutted.
