Today, Kavulak, co-owner of Nebraska Brewing Company, is just weeks away from opening what will be the state’s largest brewery at 6946 S. 108th St., in La Vista. But just as with that first humble beer on the stove, the “biggest” tag isn’t what moves Kavulak.
“What matters is making good beer, not how much of it you’re making,” he said last week as he navigated the massive tuns and fermenters and grain bins at the brewery, which, when it opens, will give the company capacity to produce 10,000 barrels of beer annually and has the potential to expand that output to 50,000 barrels. “If you’re making good beer, people are going to drink it, then you can make more of it. That’s always been our stance.”
To all of our SchillingBridge fans - We have great news: We will be opening a 2nd location in Lincoln, Nebraska in May 2014! SchillingBridge Cork & Tap House and will be located at 575 Fallbrook Blvd Suite 109 in the beautiful Fallbrook Development. This new location will be a continued focus by our Corporation to offer our award-winning wines and hand-crafted micro-brewed beer but in our uniquely "SchillingBridge" one-of-a-kind "Cork & Tap House" concept! We'll offer our wine by the glass, bottle and on tap! We'll also have a larger selection of our beer and a fun selection of signature cocktails, and of course Kelly's Root Beer! We're also excited to bring to Lincoln a unique menu that specializes and promotes the infusion of our wine and beer in its preparation and yes - of course we're bringing Mike's wildly successful Prime Rib Dinner & our gourmet pizza's! So to all of you who have made SchillingBridge the success that it is - A GREAT BIG THANK YOU from all of us at SchillingBridge! We'll look forward to your next visit to our Pawnee City location and this Spring, to our Fallbrook property!

It was buried in the Blackstone thread, but there is an article that says Benson Brewery was going to open a brewery on Farnam.Brad wrote:Sot he Benson Brewery is opening a brewery at 3921 Farnam Street (immediately east of Irwin Exposures). Is this on our list or yet another Brewery???
We have Scriptown and Goldenrod, so this would be three in that area...

Their website says $150. You get to take home a 5 gallon keg of your brew and get a tapping party out of the deal.Brad wrote:I might want to try that some time!iamjacobm wrote:Infusion has a deal to brew your own beer with their equipment.

You've likely heard of labels like "Beer City, USA" and the "Napa Valley of Beer," but what about "Beer Corner, USA"? It's with that tag that Omaha, Nebraska, has managed to carve out a space for itself among the landscape of American cities that are busy brewing hops.
Yep, they are headed to Nebraska Brewing tomorrow and probably Lucky Bucket tomorrow. They are hitting Benson too.Coyote wrote:They were at Zipline and Empyrean today, Tallgrass yesterday...
