Next 2014 Forum Meet

Time to think about our next quarterly Meet-Up, which would fall in the second half of July.
The first thing that comes to my mind is an eOmahaForum family picnic somewhere.
If you have any other ideas let us know here.

Just throwing this out there....there is always the Taste of Omaha, the first weekend in June. Maybe some of us could meet up there. Otherwise a picnic somewhere sounds good for July. There quite a few places that I can think that may work. (Mahoney, River's Edge Park in CB, Memorial Park)

We could do an early summer and then a late summer Meet-Up while the weather is good.
A few of us would do some Royals games back in the days...
Wow, typed that and... Maybe some Storm Chaser games...

The first half of June is really tough. There is just so much going on then.

I will make it if possible. A picnic would be fun. An afternoon or evening at a brew pub would be fine. Dinner would be great, too.

I'm interested in joining the meetup in July. I think a Storm Chasers game would be really fun. But I'm certainly open to other ideas.

Summer is very busy, but would love to try to meet up. Family picnic or beer tour would be fine by me. Not a fan of doing the baseball game; it seems as though it would be hard to meet one another.

My vote would be a Thirsty Thursday game at the Chasers.

Any more thoughts? How about a hike down Farnam, checking out the new bars and restaurants? Or doing the same in Benson?

Wow, the summer really has buzzed by. I completely forgot about our Forum Meet.
A Saturday night Benson gig, or still a Chasers night would be great. Any other late summer thoughts?

I would be interested in any sort of meet again...it was fun last time. I know that my family is probably going to Vala's on a Saturday in the middle of October.

I'd say Vala's would be nice, however, it is so large and with kids I think a closer atmosphere would be best as they would not want to be confined to stick with a group. Perhaps, if something can be arranged for a "behind the scenes" somewhere giving everyone the idea do see something that could not be done by anyone. Meet at the OWH after a dinner and see printings, see what occurs at KETV, playhouse, rose, josilyn... something that a family normally would do.
