The current space will become St. Andrews Pub, a low-key, Scottish-style neighborhood pub. There will be plenty of TVs, most showing international soccer. Matt Biggins, the creative director of Beercade, Jake’s Cigars & Spirits and St. Andrews, said the bar is a neighborhood bar for people who like to watch sports, not a sports-themed bar. St. Andrews is slated to open in late summer.

St. Andrews Pub (former Beercade location)
Beercade readies for move; bar showing international soccer will go in old spot
Re: St. Andrews Pub (former Beercade location)
Awesome stuff happening in Benson this spring! A new concert venue, a bigger Beercade and a new soccer friendly bar. Just need to figure out when 1912 is opening up now.
Re: St. Andrews Pub (former Beercade location)
These guys put the pedal to the metal to get this place open for the World Cup. Opening at 10 AM tomorrow.
Also TVs at every booth! How cool is that!

Went by this place, it is as awful as you could imagine. Basically a bunch of white kids telling you how much they know about soccer.
Re: St. Andrews Pub (former Beercade location)

Re: St. Andrews Pub (former Beercade location)
Interesting news. Last June St Andrews purchased the old Appliance store down the street to the north. Turns out they will now turn this space into a patio. A little larger than 1300 sq ft, it will get a $125K facelift. I presume they will be tearing this down...

So is the St. Andrew's location going to be a different bar or restaurant now?Coyote wrote:Interesting news. Last June St Andrews purchased the old Appliance store down the street to the north. Re: St. Andrews Pub (former Beercade location)
A world herald article said the patio will be indoor/outdoor and open air. It will be accessible from 61st and have its own bar with 5 taps.

I'm still slightly confused about this, is St. Andrews moving to the old Faucet shop across the street?

No. St Andrews is still in the old Beercade building and just recently bought the structure down the street to the north (their backyard) for a patio.
