Junkstock 2014 - Oct. 10-12

Post by Coyote »

Junkstock is the Midwest's premiere event for architectural salvage, antiques, repurposed jewelry, one-of-a-kind vintage pieces, primitives, shabby chic, vintage clothing, and all things old and unique. Vendors from all over the Midwest gather on a repurposed dairy farm just outside of Omaha, NE to showcase their goods. Amazing local music, food vendors, and activities for all ages make this an event you have to put on your annual junking calendar.
I drive past this place often, by never while someone is there, selling produce?
Anyone know about this place - especially if it will remain with nearby property developed?

FYI, there is an admission fee. $5 per person, per day.

Only way home tonight there were several tents already set up in there. Seems early. Even after sunset, there were several people in there working.

Went to their website and read the story in the paper about it. I may have to check it out next year. I know that last year the guys from American Pickers stopped by.

Did that ever make the air, or did they just happen to stop by when they were not recording?

I am not completely sure, but I think they just stopped by on the their way through the area. I don't believe they filmed anything.
