Kolache Factory

Grow Omaha mentioned a Kolache Factory entering the Omaha market starting with a restaurant at 123 & Maple. Anyone been to one?

Yes! Great cheap little Kolaches. Are the earth shattering? No, but I love the place in Kansas City

They are open now. Same just a couple doors down from Bene Pizza. Based on the cars out front, they seem to be doing well so far.

A Kolache Factory is going into the old Copycat Printing store on the SE corner of 84th & F.

OK, so it took me four years to finally try them, and they are great.
I first had the Sausage, Egg and Cheese... They had Salsa!
Also had their Sausage and Gravy, and their Philly. I loved it!

I’ve only been to the one on Maple, but the chicken enchilada one is quite good too.

Celebrating Nebraska's Czech influence on National Kolache Day

Kolaches are traditionally a Czech staple and it’s no coincidence, there’s a large number of Czechs in Omaha and Eastern Nebraska.
