Himalaya's Indian and Bhutanese--Old Market
Saw a sign for this today next door to Havana Garage, to the west--not where Ahmad's was.

Liquor License (for Himalayas Restaurant) is going before the City Council this Tuesday, so they must be getting ready to open?

I've always greatly admired the space where Indian Oven was located. I hope it still retains that sophisticated urban feel.

Ate here for the first time tonight, it was excellent. Highly suggest if you haven't tried it out yet. Obviously is the same recipes as the Oven location in Lincoln.

Did Himalaya's change their name back to The Oven? This location was The Oven, then was Himalayas, and now I'm seeing several of their online listings renamed to The Oven.

I have wondered that as well. The huge inscribed window sign reads Himalaya’s, at least as of the last time I walked by. But possibly the “shingle” sign hanging over the sidewalk now says The Oven.

The window now sports the logo for “The Oven” which has all its other locations in Lincoln.
