Fiesta Brava

Post by Greg S »

New Mexican restaurant coming to 144th and Fort (NE corner, a bay real close to Pizzeria Davlo). Just noticed it this weekend. Sign is up and construction underway inside. The two buildings at this center look now to be close to 100% leased.

Now if they could just light the parking lot better at night. Worst in Omaha....

Not yet. Seem to be pulling in good crowds between them and Pizzeria Davlo. I drove by there several times a day on my way back and forth to home, and the lots is so much busier now. If I don't go this weekend I'm going next.

Tried it Saturday. They start you off with a good size bowl of chips and salsa (first is free additional I think it said was only 99 cents). Chips were great, salsa good. I had the enchilada and taco combo plate. Both were good. The cheese used was fantastic. Taste was similar to La Mesa.

I also had the house margarita which I thought was great.

Overall it was a good place. Since it's so close to my house I will definitely go back. Nothing spectacular but overall good.

I noticed that they were closed as I drove past today.
